Anne KaminskiAnne is a designer and developer of performance athletic apparel. She is the designer of Major League Baseball on-field and Authentic Collection product lines. Since 2006 she has been the creator of game uniforms, fleece, and outerwear for all 30 north American professional baseball teams. She is the inventor of the patented Airbelt technology featured in Flexbase™ baseball uniforms. In her free time, she designs and produces bespoke denim out of her home in central New Jersey.
James Simon. James has been in academia for years teaching CAD illustration at Parsons New School and recently here at NYSD. He started in the fashion industry by doing hand painted prints for Nicole Miller. James later became co-owner of a Purple Thum Design for about a year then did typography and layout for Housner Printing and Design. Since 1997, he is a graphic designer for Design Works International while devoting the rest of his time to education and nurturing the next future generations of fashion designers.
JR Morrissey.An avid designer, production aficionado, and entrepreneur, JR has successfully launched several boutique brands, scaling them out to more diverse markets and eventually selling them to investors such as Pegasus Money Fund. Drawing upon his years of experience in designing and producing his own brands in NYC, he formed FACTORY8, a New York City-based facility dedicated to providing designers and brands with the resources and skills necessary to streamline their sample through production process. JR focuses the company to personify the benefits of domestic production for its clients, such as affordability, timely turnaround, increased involvement, and improved innovation, all while proudly contributing to New York City’s fashion industry.
